I saw some of this stuff for .243 that was cheap, so it's on it's way. 90 gr. SP and 100 gr. SP., couple boxes of each. Priced right for fodder for the grand nephews first rifle as I break it in for him. Anyone try this stuff?
I've used 6.5x55mm Swede and 7.62x39mm Prvi ammunition before and it worked fine. The brass seems to be extra strong though, and a few flash holes were tight. No biggy, just something you might encounter if you reload.
I've shot 2k of it in 223 with no issues. Brass has been reloaded 3 times since with no cracks or head seperation. For the price, it's good to go. Accuracy was 2 to 3moa from my rifle. Not the best, but acceptable at the price point.
I've fired over 1k PP rounds each of .45 ACP and 9mm, then another 1k after reloading. The only problem I saw was a feed jam when my wife limp-wristed the .45.
After a proper break-in, I'll see what the accuracy is. Granted, the rifle is not touted as an MOA rifle, so we'll see what happens. Thanks all. JB
