Off the hook fishing charters is the best on the island, hands down.

Stay off the dunes...they are protected.

    The smokehouse has great bbq.

Ride a bike on the beach...can't do that just anywhere.

Do a trolley tour in savanna. There is also a bar on a rooftop on river street. Can't remember the name. It's high $, but a great view at night.

Btw, open containers legal in a cup in savanna So you can walk around with drinks while taking in the sights.

    Ghost tour in savanna

Tour some old architecture in savannah. Really cool old homes, churches, etc.

Go see the lighthouse and have a drink at the salty dog cafe. Walk around and dream of the boats at harbourtown.

Outlet malls aren't much of a deal down there imo.

Sharks can be caught right from the beach!

There's no shortage of stuff to do there. Get a little visitor book at a grocery store for more info, map, phone numbers etc.

We've been going there for 25 years. Great place!

The toll road is Sooooooo worth the $ in case you have not tried it yet.

Where you staying? Our condo is in forest beach, right down the street from the traffic circle by the ocean.

Btw, the road to savannah is littered with SC troopers who love out of towners. Don't speed.

Thanks lots of great suggestions there I wish we had more time. We're staying at the players club resort one block up from where yours is. We're doing a ghost tour in Savannah and the trolley ride tomorrow. No time for fishing or bike rides but we are going to walk on the beach after breakfast. We're planning to take it easy today hoping to get on one of the boat tours and go see dolphins and the marshes then get some good seafood for dinner. The weather is going to be great this weekend upper 70s and low 80s. Thanks again for the info now to go find breakfast:flipeggs::coffee:

St pattys day is like Mardi Gras in savannah so you may see some stuff getting ready for that also. We are talking 100,000 extra people easily. Avoid that mess if possible.

My wife went to that chaos last year with her dad. She told me it is not for me to do I wouldn't like it at all so it's a good thing we'll be missing that mess.

used to make an annual golf trip there in another lifetime. best restaurant, Old Forte Pub. great food. take a trip over to Daufuski Is. if you can and see how the 1% live. Haig Point is stunning. Quarter Deck a great spot for a cocktail or lunch next to the boat basin. Harbor Town golf club has a great breakfast. enjoy , love that place.

Truffles restaurant is excellent food, Guizeppi's Pizza is hard to beat hands down and Hilton Head Ice Cream is a good stop. Coligny Square has some nice little shops as does Harbour Town.

It's in caligally? Square area. Lots of really cool trees down here though I would hate to cut any of them down.

Hey now they're some right purty trees now it would be shame to cut them down but... When push comes to shove they're going on the ground:salute::axe::saw::stacke:
