    They are great table fare wonderful to eat! If someone says they are not fit to eat it's because they were not handled properly. We eat lots of them!

    There are a few dog pics, catch dogs are pitbulls, bay dogs are Catahoulas, yellow black mouth curs, and plot, also running hounds, and Florida curs

    I suppose it's about the same as any wild game preparation then. Good to know in case I get one. I would have tried anyways.:grizz:

    When I lived in SC we cooked a lot of wild hogs and I had numerous people say they thought it was just as good as domestic pork. It's really good.

    As far as dogs, man that's a lot of fun. We ran catahoulas and had a few with pit mixed in. The only time we ran a pure pit was if a client/friend came in and wanted to stab or shoot one with a bow. Caught many hogs in those days and I miss that a lot.
