I have never seen this before, but thought for the newbie or guys who may not be the best at dropping trees it could be of use.

Looks pretty interesting for those folks anal about getting logs but the exact same length. Likes like is would sure beat having a 16" rod attached to the bar.

The Cross Sight works pretty good too. Kinda hard to beat the price. Has a nice chart for calculating lift for wedging a tree over too.

    This is a 100% bull..............
    1) its not noticable in light conditions
    2) its not noticable when you want to cut long logs
    3) its pricey
    4) you must wear theese red laser sunglasses and you looking like the terminator

its good only if you cut short logs about 1 meter and you can see the sight

Wouldn't it be easier (and much cheaper too) just to move that rock? ;)

I think it's somewhat cool for bucking to the length I want. The rest is utterly ridiculous.

I'll stick to my spray paint and yard stick for bucking to length though.

I use a piece 1 by 1 hardwood with screws 22 inches apart and scribe it. Either way, for a newbie newbie, it may be a good idea, although the laser does not compensate for gravity etc.
