It's too bad the quality dropped. Hate it when that happens:mad:

Me too IMO ,they were a really clean burning Hot pellet at BB price ,that was 2 years ago ,really haven't been in our area since then ,till recently when they showed up in NJ at Lowe's just across the river from Steve and I . I would try them again ,but not more than 5 bags or so to see how they work in my stove.

I've been buying and burning these since Lowes dropped their price and I'm liking them. I have 35 bags in the basement and 5 more in the garage. I plan on buying 30 more bags next weekend, weather permitting.

Batch variance has just raised it's ugly head. I burned 10 or so bags of these and had no issues with ash. I dumped a bag in the hopper before I went to work and when I came home the ash was falling out of the burn pot. I think the last time I saw that was years ago with GT's.

I was wondering about the Timber Heats from Lowes since I never burned them before.
Any other update on current performance?

I've only burned the 2 bags since I got into the bad batch. I have 2 more in the garage I may burn soon. I also have 35 bags in the basement that I'm hoping are the good batches. If you get a good batch, they are a pretty nice pellet.

Can you see any difference in the batches that may indicate a production date ?
