    Not cold at all. That was the wife babying him a bit. He likes laying on the cooler tiled floor mainly. Just like he is doing right now. Very smart dog and this Saturday we will have had him two weeks. He already sits and lays down on command. Speed rates vary depending on whether or not a treat is involved though. LOL! Now I just need to get the NC-30 and some pics of that posted. I am not going to use it until next fall but plan on buying one today or tomorrow.

    That little fur ball has buy a new stove hall pass written all over him. I think I have this buying new fire toys thing figured out. It costs me money in more than one way though. Gotta figure out a better angle on that.......

    I wouldn't be surprised if some lurkers have already bought some, that's fine, that's why I posted this so people know there is a good deal to be had.

    All winter I've been thinking I should get rid of the old smoke dragon that we use to supplement the FPI when it stays below freezing for an extended period of time.

    When this thread came up I decided to really investigate all the modern stoves. I went back through and started reading all the posts on all the different stoves you folks have. While I can see that the cat stoves are super efficient, they are also pretty salty and I'm not sure I want to spend close to 2k on a stove This might be just what I'm looking for.

    If I decide to take the plunge, I'll be sure to report back here. :)

    Thanks for posting.

    I think it's too big for where we have the current stove. I mentioned it to the wife and it's a no-go. I'm really really tempted to just do it and deal with the consequences.

    Seriously, a $900-$1400 stove (depending on where it's sold) for a little over $200 (after credit), ...........I've spent more than that on a family dinner out in the past. Easily.

    I don't think the 13 would give me the burn times I want. Right now I'm getting about 6 hrs.

    Yes Sir! I like the way that you think. I'm doing it whether she gets miffed or not. Currently she has a temporary condition of sealed lips too. I'll get to that in a minute.

    Won't be the first time nor the last I've had to pull some rank on her. She is in a new car, new puppy, and all is well around the digs here. And I just scored another kicker that will COST ME MONEY..... Sonofbitch! She calls yesterday and has a nice ding and scrape on her new car door. Two damm months old. Not bad but I will not waste my time turning it into insurance either. Plus I have a cousin and another friend in the auto body biz.

    Three strikes,, She's out! Now let me get this transaction done. Pulling the trigger as soon as she and the kids leave for the park with the dog. Cha-Ching!

    I kind of mentioned it the other night too so I can tell her I told ya about it when it miraculously appears. It's kind of hard for her to have any justification to put me in the dog house < pun intended. I like having bargaining chips but I hate shelling out the coin for them. I'll have to add up what this $200 stove deal will really cost me here. Hidden cost, overhead, CYA fees, Etc;

    Might have been better just buying a high dollar deal and have her ticked for a few. LOL!
