Pellets are considered a home heating fuel and are exempt from weight limits unless its a bridge. No truck is exempt from a weight limited bridge. If that is the case they may be able to go around the block the other way. 30 years delivering firewood on posted roads and I've never been bothered. Ever.
Sub this is not my local Lowe's Steve turned me on to this score , but I think they have been there for awhile bags were wet
So...despite the fact that both HD and Lowes are at $4/bag and TSC is st $4.20/bag, my local Walmart remains at $5.64/bag or $282/ton. Those peanut hull penningtons must be some great product.
I stopped by my local Lowe's (Rochester N.H.) they had alot of pellets left out back and I mean ALOT of the pallets were damaged on the bottom. I would not want to have them delivered to me!
That is prolly break even at mill prices or possibly a loss on Lowes part. Start rootin piggies! This was at my HD Sunday . About 3 skids worth . Torn bags. Some of them only had penny size holes . Didn't see a price but last I was aware of $199. 50% of nothing is nothing,,, right ? Didn't see any other skids anywhere and website sez limited quantities.
I just saw a few pallets of those Nations Choice pellets in the all white bags at an HD about a week ago. Until now all the Nations Choice I had seen were in bags with a white bottom and green top. Member gbreda previously mentioned there were different grades of NC this year, maybe this is them?
