Good morning, mid 30's, windy and snow flurries. Coffee is on and I get to work down south at the "immediate care' clinic...snow usually means ankle, hip, shoulder and elbows will be on the job list today.
    Be safe out there. Peace.

Don't get too close to the screen while reading this.

So I miss a day of reading this thread and I have pages to catch up on. this week's weather has been clear and crisp. Freezing a bit at night and warm during the day. My co-worker has been off sick and I think I am next. Sitting here with hot tea and honey thinking get well thoughts. Our whole school has been inundated with flu and cold and our Vice Principal is going crazy trying to replace everyone that is off.

Gorgeous orange, red streaky sunrise this morning so I think we have a small rain storm moving in. sorry, no pics :emb:

We had 42 this morning before I sanded that sheet of ice we call a driveway. I was heading into town when I noticed some heavy fog so I turned around since we really don't need the stuff I was heading into pick up.

The Brook is running down through pretty good, I'll be taking a run back in after things freeze up.

Gasifier , I see both of us were in the areas that received 1.5 to 2 inches of rain.

The fog is finally moving in, how's your area for fog?

Fog finally cleared mid morning. Now light snow off and on. I'm heading for a walk along the Oswegatchie river tonight and for the next few nights. It is always cool to see it flowing strong.

    Take care of yourself.

Thanks for the warning - I wiped my screen down with antibacterial soap then sprayed it with Lysol, just to be safe :D

Be very careful, please. I did the same thing back in the early 90's and when I inspected the barrel, found one impact where the bullet hit the barrel off center enough that it made a complete 180 degree reversal of direction! It just used the inside of the barrel to turn itself completely around and exited the open top back in my direction. Never even knew it happened until I saw the barrel and the fresh track marks....

Sunny day here but the wind was still crazy gusting 25-30mph. Decided to stay out of the woods and pruned roses and crepe myrtles in the yard
I'm hopping it dies down tomorrow so I can drop a couple trees

Caffeine and light breakfast in me. Wife and kids fed and off to school. It is fairly cold out at 8 degrees, so this morning I will work inside and get chores done so wife doesn't have to even think of them when she gets home from work. Apron on. :zip:@rottiman ! Kitchen cleaned, laundry started, vacuuming will be next.

I will also do a little relaxing for an hour this morning and spend a little time on FHC. Then when it warms up later I am going to go out and try to scrape this mess up with the Kubota that has frozen solid. I should have cleaned it up before it froze:picard:, but I was enjoying being lazy after a 12 hour day at work yesterday.:D

Good morning, coffee is long gone and mid 30's. Too muddy to get into the woodlots, might run to town before making for the garage and fettling around.
Hope you good people who are feeling under the weather get to feeling better, been seeing a lot of people with head/chest congestion, body aches and "stomach flu" at the workhouse.
Dr's prescribe a "z-pack" to make the people feel better about the visit, but it's viral,,save the antibiotics for when you need 'em!!
Be safe out there and have a good day.
