Nice day outside today 56 °F
Didn't do much, wanted to see how my new, inexpensive saw ran, so I made a little dent in the pile.
Saw ran a little lean out of the box, tweak it a little and it ran great.
That oak is heavy and even after 2 days of 50 degree weather is still froze to the ground, no problem for the Cant hook though.
Stinky oak, Now I smell like dog chit

Sledge hammer works great or even a splitting maul. On those size, usually one whack and it is free.

I think of vinegar more than dog poop smell.

Maul works just great! I keep mine out by the OWB all winter for the bottom pieces (rounds) that are frozen and usually sunken into the ground a bit. No, I don't line the bottom of the pile with boards, logs, pallets.....
