The other day it was 1-3" here. Now it's 6-8". Sounds like it'll be as much fun as pushing wet concrete around Thursday morning.

This storm is just missing us. Well maybe get an inch, if we're lucky. I wish it would blast our nothwoods, and give use 2-3" down by my house.

Stay safe everyone that will get affected by this storm.

    6-12" over here. And wind.

I've got gasoline, TP, dry firewood in the garage and adult beverages. Nature can send whatever she wants to send.

Here's a surprise......Accuweather has yet again changed the "forecast".
Calling for 6-10" of snow starting this afternoon. When these systems come up from the south like this one, all bets are off.
The last one similar to this one left us with around 9" of snow.
Good day to stay in the house and drink coffee.

Backwoods Savage , did your snow start yet? We had ice overnight but it changed over to rain this morning, the heavier rain starts this afternoon, maybe .75 inches by the time it's done so we'll have a mess.

I lost a downspout from the southwest corner of my house in the wind last Friday. I didn't notice it until Sunday when I was in the backyard. I looked around the yard and field and it was nowhere to be found, so I figured I'd get a new piece at Home Depot Monday after work. My wife called me Monday and said she saw the downspout when she was on her way home. It was on the other side of the road (northeast of the house) in the access road for the orchard, about 400 feet from the house. I heard we had 70 MPH gusts that day. The downspout is back where it belongs, and fastened to the house this time like it should have been in the first place. :headbang:

The snow started here about an hour ago. So far, it's all melting and the roads are just wet.

we got a few inches in Ann Arbor. I came into work before it started and will leave in a couple hours. I brought the car because it wasn't supposed to hit hard till this evening. Oh well, I am not sure if I will need the truck tomorrow.

It sucks here this winter, I'm thinking about fogging the carbs in both sleds so they'll be ready for next year.

We got about 2-3" of the wettest snow I've ever seen, being slung around by 30MPH winds. Stings your face. The power went out for about 60 seconds....just long enough to have an aww chit moment.
