    Yup, although not doing anything yet, they have already cancelled the buses in the county. We are to get a combination of 6-8" of snow, sleet, freezing rain and rain between this afternoon and Friday morning. After all the "Glop" falls it is supposed to get down around zero just to "solidify" the whole mess...................Should be a HOOT......................

    Windy and raining here. Should be windy and snowing by noon. Supposed to get 4" of slop fall from the sky today and tonight.

    1/2 day of work here, then taking for a long weekend tomorrow AM down in TN. I hope the roads aren't too terrible.

    Good morning, coffee is on, the rain and wind is out of doors with 37 degrees. The weather guessers are claiming rain to snow tonight, should make for a nice ride to the workhouse tomolly.
    Looks like a fire is gonna' get started in the garage stove, where I'll hunker down today and fettle around, a fine day off from the workhouse!
    Have a good one out there today and be safe.

    Meaning that the storm is passing south of us and I will not be affected by it.
    I think it was a couple weeks ago, I posted a pic of an undisturbed area in the yard that the depth read at 36"! (9 Feb) snow depth 9 FEB 16 002.JPG

    Since that time, the snow has settled/evaporated and we have even received a bit of rain in the form of drizzle. This all helps compact the snow so it is not that deep any longer. I would estimate it to be around 24" now. The skiers, snowmobilers, snow-shoers still have plenty of snow to enjoy their sports. We will have lots of snow for awhile yet.

    Glad to hear it. I was hoping that you were not missing out on winter! You definitely have us beat. Everybody here was freaking out because we got up to 3" yesterday. Growing up in Idaho, that is nothing, so I always laugh at the amateurs.
