Plenty of apple trees left but it's pretty frozen right now. Tomorrow after noon the weather man is calling for 50mph gusts and 20 below wind chills.
Yeah same crap here. If you make it to the gtg I would buy a billet or two from you to make chips for my smoker.
Deal. Soon as we thaw out a little, my son and I will cut a bunch hockey puck size and bring along, say a couple 5 gallon buckets full. I'll try and lid 'em all to keep moisture in
Don't even have to cut that small. I run them across my jointer and collect the shavings. Thanks I appreciate it.
My truck is loaded with a mix of wood that has accumulated around the woods. I finally split everything and loaded it up. I have been hesitant to unload it so I have more traction for snowy days. I have a cargo net covering the last two rows. It is held on by ratchet straps and the end just has some bungee cords to stop it from flapping. The truck can haul a good size load but here is a down side to having a dually. I really don't like it when this happens..
Yep. I hate to pull a tire off and clean in this weather. Hopefully I can blast it out with water when it goes above freezing.
Not really a load, but had a half hour this afternoon to run by for this maple. May try to get more this weekend, if it's still there.
What, you don't like Tippy? Previous owner rolled it so we just bent the cab back to fit the back glass. Can't see spending tons on body work. More bondo means less wood.
I need a wood hauling beast truck like y'all. Until then I make do with my setup. I can get a half cord in a couple hours with driving, cutting, hauling, loading, then unloading.
