    Very awesome burl pics! I found a little one on an apple tree. Saved it for my dad to run on his lathe. Can't wait to see how it looks on the inside!

    I really like the look of those. How are they with a light dusting of cinnamon sugar mix like you might use on cinnamon toast?

    Are you sure those are for making cookies? I've seen similar things online that I'm pretty sure served some other purpose...

    The cookies are very crispy so sprinkling something like cinnamon sugar may not stick. I use either cardamom or pumpkin pie spice mixed into the batter when I make them.
