I hear ya Dexter...and I was most certainly not trying to be pompus and a know-it-all...as I, as I'm sure others here have as well, have benefited from your willingness to experiment & push the boundries. I'd more than happy to fab parts for ya...least I could for the great info you've provided the community.

I am, however, a bit confussed as to why all those costly upgrades are needed in the first place. I mean the thing should not chew through burn pot components burning as delivered. I'm convined my fist pot & several replacements were made of low grade steel. The amount of scaling is evidence of that. My fabed parts are holding up much better...but I think more improvement is required. I thought I read that some folks here have gone to 100% stainless and that those parts were from Fahrenheight...not sure if true but I'm going to fab all future parts from 3xx stainless...costly, but it'll hopefully save future down-time & aggrivation. Definately going to increase the thickness of the main pot...damm ignitor is cause failure on same spot (I have 3 with exact same failure spot)...still would like to see picks of how your door mechinism works...wanna ditch the inside arm thing...

No doubt. I believe all the new pots are stainless and probably for good reason.

As for the upgrades? It's because when they first made the stove? It sucked.. Bad.

They understood this and finally made some higher flowing CFM parts so that it could get the airflow that it needed.

I have the parts list (with prices) and breakdown if you'd like it?

And if I ever asked you for a part? You better believe I'm going to pay you for your time, energy, and materials.

Thanks for all your posts and insight on your past problems. I hope that all of us as a group learn together what to do better! I love my furnace, as much as all of you other owners do, and hope that we can use them for many moons to come!

What pics you want? I sent the exploded view of the entire furnace and the parts/pricing list (updated and increased airflow parts are noted in parentheses).

Name the pics you want and I'll take them this weekend as it will be very warm here in Ohio! I'm more than willing to help you.

your pot...there isn't any detailed views in the materials you sent me...I'm most interested in how the front door is pulled close and if they modified the pot frame to account for this...

    thx

Sent the V3 and V4 pot prints.

Hope these help. The 4 works better than the 3 because more parts are tied together (less to go wrong).

When I take mine out. I'll show you in a video. But the 2 arms of the V4 are much easier. Also, having the pot in two halves allows the pot to warp less (top reburn plate and pusher do not drag as much).

Also, as noted in the email. It does allow the one side to be replaced (ignitor) much cheaper than than the old version.

I have both versions here (V3 for back up). So when I clean it next or its gets warmer. I'll take a video of how each of the versions work and the moving parts.

Interesting...you mention you have both versions of the pot...do both fit in the same frame?

Yes. The V3 and V4 will swap out with one another. There is slight differences. But the receptacle is the same (I have a V3 receptacle and a V4 pot). But they still work together
