Got a good storm last night, finally a good enough snow to take a few pictures. Pics of our 1880 farm house and looking out the side window down to the wood stacks.
Rained liked crazy here last night. After two days of really cold weather, it jumped up before we could get some snow. Going to rain here later today.
We ended up with about 4" of snow over the weekend, the most by far this year. I took off work yesterday so I had a chance to bundle up the 3 month old and we watched my other daughter and the dogs play on the frozen creek and sled ride.
Its actually not that cold today, heavy wet snow but it looks good. Plowed the drive with the tractor and that was was working hard to push that much snow.
That's a guesstimate, but we got a chit-ton of it since this morning. Some days it sure feels like the Pacific Northwest here!!
Just think what it would have been like if you had the evaporator full of sap and boiling like crazy!
You aint kiddin brother! It was like monsoon around lunch time. Not to mention the dang wind that came with it!
My sentiments exactly Swags....bout time we had some snow. I measured 7.5 inches this morning before I had the snow blowing done. Wet and heavy was right....I have a good sized Husqvarna blower and it was earning it's keep for sure.
