    We were just commenting how much lighter it stays....especially when there are no snow clouds around!

    Yes indeed. I've always noticed when we head east we notice about an hour's difference between here and there. Of course we are right next to the central time zone and you are next to the pond.

    Yes we are. We even have tide water within a mile of us. Love it. Living near the ocean is awesome. While we get a lot of ocean storms, we also have the warmth of the ocean to temper some of the extremes that they get just a few more miles in. Yet, we are far enough in not to be in the fog so much. I have to tell you that when I need my mood adjusted, just sitting on the shore, watching and listening to the ocean really helps bring me back to center.

    I can easily relate. Don't forget we have the Great Lakes and that is all fresh water and it too really tempers our weather.
