I have some recordings of Rare Trax ACDC and the song "Can I sit next to you girl", which I always thought was by Bon Scott as that seems to be just what he would write, was actually recorded by their first singer, Dave Evans, whom Bon replaced. Just some useless trivia.
Officially? Three. Dave Evans was the original frontman with Dennis Laughlin as the occasional stand-in before Bon took over.
That's ok. There are only two singles with Evans and Can I Sit Next To You Girl is by far the more popular one. Plus, the most commonly heard version actually is Bon singing as it was re-recorded after Bon joined the band.
Saw them the first time in 1979 at the Mississippi River Jamb in Davenport Iowa. Nazareth, UFO and a bunch of other bands at the out door concert. Kinda remember it but if you was there you was, well.... I'm the 1 on the right hammin it up for the gal takin pics. Back then the only wood I was worried about was...
That was, well, pretty much the way it was for me. I kinda remember the bands I saw in the 70's, kinda.....
Who? I have managed to lose some of the ten Cassettes (I was on the go a lot when I was younger.) I had of there Albums. Unfortunately some of their best ones. But they are easily replaced with better quality recordings today. I can't believe you guys listen to some of that stuff! Just part of the old collection. LOFL
Nice collection. I still have a few vinyl's but all my cassettes were eaten one way or another by crappy cassette players over the years. However, due to the beauty of MP3s, they live again.
