    If you believe those people.

Both they and TWC said no snow for us monday. It spit snow all Monday and snowed hard several times for a few minutes each time???

Weather Underground/The Weather Channel say the same but NOAA tonight gives a much different forecast, we'll plan for the 8-12.

Between record temps last weekend, extreme cold this weekend, and every type of precipt under the sun, we're getting whiplash from this chit! Stay cozy yall!

I can tell a huge difference in my BL and white oak. BL is way hotter and putS it out way longer. I don't care what the paper says (they say there not that much difference) there is a big difference in my stove.

So if you need more heat go for BL and use White Oak on a warmer night

My thermometer says 3 right now, wind is calm, forecast is for -9
usually the water on the stove keeps the humidity pretty good but I had to turn the humidifier on now

3º outside and expected to be -4º by morning.....fighting another coal bed but the Buck is about to get a midnight snack.....I got red and white oak, locust and sugar maple down there so whatever fits. 75º upstairs right now. Our guests from small group bible study left and I sure didn't here the usual comments of "it's hot in here"

It's pretty brutal here too. -8 with 15 mph winds. First time it's been this cold since last winter. Burning a mix maple and white birch. image.jpg

It's almost starting to feel like hell froze over or someone is playing a bad joke on me. When I'm sitting here watching guys in Ontario with way colder weather than me, my southern neighbors with way colder weather than me, it blows my mind.

Sitting at -11 C ( about 12 F) right now, and not supposed to see anything colder than -15 C ( 8? F) in the next week or so.
