Will, Steve great success stories there. Staying nice and warm on the cheap during the coldest part of the year.

Wally world Home depot is almost out of FSU, but maybe 8-10 tons of Prestos in stock.

They probably have 10 truckloads of MULCH & SOIL if anybody needs it

I think these are typically a 60/40 softwood/hardwood blend. The batch I picked up this year is far more darker and the pellets are longer than what I've bought in previous years. The still have a nice softwood smell to them though.

You guys buying $199 pellets don't have to worry.
That is an awesome price.... today.
If your stove burns 'em purdy.... and you're warm...
    That's all that counts!!

Russell, if you want to try some, take a spin over to one of the HD stores RI. The RI stores have been at the $3.99/bag price for about a week now, and from what I saw, they are mostly loaded with firesides and chows. You could grab a sample while the price is low so you can try them out and see if you might be interested in making a larger purchase in the future.

My local HD has a few FSU bags left.

Called Wallingford Lowes and they said all pellets $199/Ton including Greene Team. But the Derby Lowes has the Greene Team for $349??? WTH?

They also have Nature's Own, any good?

Pretty sure Nature's Own is the same product as FSU. Getting hard to keep up with all the private labels these days.

I could be wrong , but I think they are Stow Chow basically same thing all made be the same company , just that the FSU's are the blend and all the others are pure hardwood.
