1000lbs of ice melt loaded: check
    Plow on truck: check
    Full gas tank:check

Aaaaaand the snow goes south....again. :(

It appears this year the truck repairs are going to be higher than the income it makes. Cmon spring....grass cutting is much more predictable.

    Been there!!

Don't remember what year but I had everything ready for a storm that was forecast to be huge. It ended up having a very sharp cut off line about 40 miles to the East. I had sunshine and a truckload of salt sitting in a clean, dry driveway.

I just clicked off the pellet stove and I loaded up the wood stove with sugar maple, the pellet stove will go back on at 8 for the night.

It will be a cold couple of days up here.

Bitter here this a.m. . Sitting @ -18 f with a stiff NW wind. Sky is clear blue. They are supposed to have the snowmobile "Ride for Dad" prostate cancer fund raising ride in the area here today. I can imagine that is going to be miserable for sure. Gas man right on with the "inside" work.
Everyone have a safe, WARM day.

Sure as heck seems like it, but it's some of the best money you can spend.
Results are worth a LOT more than the up front cost. Another one of those "money in the bank" things.
