Thanks everybody! Yooperdave, I'm a thorough study and I've watched how the cool kids do it. Frank, appreciate the 'headline' comment. JeffGu, Salina, where I-135 and 70 meet, is where we're located. I forgot to mention that photography is also one of my favorite hobbies - I hope I can add to the discussions here and there. Carry on!

I head out your way every year to do some pheasant hunting. Stop by in Salina every year to pick up our hunting permits. We stay in the Wilson lake area. Beautiful place.

It is a beautiful lake - but the ones further east - Milford and Tuttle reservoirs - have TREES! Ha!

Great looking set up in your house there.
Nice stacks of :woodsign: :stacke:
The electric splitters will get the job done, just got my gas splitter this past summer, just because I wanted to be able to go vertical to split up the bigger stuff. Before that the 7 ton electric got the job done.
I love my X11 for chopping the stringy stuff, the handle is long enough so you don't smack your knuckles, like the x7.
Oh yeah, and the 445 I like mine and use it a lot
