Lot of info and videos out there on the benefits (for deer) of hinge cutting for deer habitat. I'm thinking of trying this in a couple of areas and was wondering if anyone has tried this or has any experience?

I've done it a few times. I use it to create funnels for stand placement. I don't have enough land, or I'd have the thickest nastiest hinge cut over for a sanctuary. This us the time of year to be doing it.

A state wildlife employee told me to do this for quail. We have been leaving rough stuff along the fence rows for them and it is working. A friend and I are researching what is needed for deer.
