My Ravelli dealer gave me 4 bags of their pellets to try if they are a good pellet I'm going bulk with them next year.
They are currently selling those for $199 ton. Can't wait to hear what you think of them. I'm also curious if any got sent to Twin Ports for testing.
yeah I don't know if they been tested or not,the pellets are made at a mill somewhere in Lancaster which they told me but don't remember, Kingdom themselves got their own mill pretty much ready to roll just waiting on PPL to hookup the proper electric supply.I have been invited back to see their mill in operation as soon as they get going.Kingdom has some cool stuff going on there from the mill to vac systems to their bulk delivery setup, hope it works out for them.
Hmmm, I wonder if Ironstone is bagging those for Kingdom right now. That's the only pellet mill that I know of in Lancaster area.
No its not Ironstone that's what I'm currently burning and they suck it was CS Herr or something like that.I will find out again for sure
OH...you don't like the Ironstone's? What don't you like about them/how do they burn? I see them listed on CL and always wondered how they were.
This is the first year I'm burning them, they burn OK with moderate heat but man they have a lot of fines and dust.
Got the Francesca dialed in pretty good so I just filled her up with the Kingdom pellets,I will see how they do through this hopper.
Please do report back, and thank you in advance for that. Would like to find a supplier based within 100 miles if possible, so they would qualify. Have to admit I am very spoiled with Hamer's, but a more local source that delivers would be great.
I'm not sure where you are in E. PA , I know of a couple of places that carry Hamer's and deliver also if you ever see Clean Energy Pellets at Lowe's they are Hamer's just re bagged for Lowe's .
I'm liking the Kingdoms, low ash and good heat, much better than the Iron stones I been burning, wish I had my pellet shed ready to be blown full of Kingdoms
Hi Will. Chester County, near Exton. Stove Shop does not deliver and is expensive for pellets. Gasworks will deliver but very reluctantly, and price for it is high. Open to suggestions, and thank you.
Excellent. Thank you. Will check them out before next year's buy. Usually do that in July-August. Will be interesting to see how much is left this year. Using about half normal rate so far.
OK south of me , can't help you with my dealers , But if you find Clean Energy the are Hamer's Link to Steve's Review ★★★★☆ - Clean Energy Wood Pellets (Review) | Firewood Hoarders Club
Clean Energy burn pretty well for me. Purchased a ton from Lowe's back in December. They were $299 a ton at that time, but paid $255 for the ton. Got a movers pack from post office that had a 10% off coupon, plus another 5% off, if you used a Lowe's credit card. Just pay off the statement, when it comes. Went this past Sunday and purchased my 2nd ton of Clean Energy pellets from Lowe's. They were $259 a ton, but paid $221 for the ton. Again, used another 10% off coupon and another 5% off for using my Lowe's Credit card. Will pay that statement off again, when the statement comes to me.
I got a ton of the Clean Energy from Lowes also. Think I paid $248 a ton back in Sept. Really like them, good heat. fair amount of ash. Schoondog
