As cabin fever sets in I thought maybe we could post pics of our motorized wheeled toys. I know some like Scotty Overkill have fords that run and hide in garages over winter likes break them pics out and pretend it's warm. Some of you are lucky and have warm weather year round to enjoy but we won't exclude you. I will have to get a couple to post.

I'll be the one to represent American Motors. :)

1969 AMC Javelin SST. Frost white exterior, red interior. 343 V8, Shift Command automatic transmission, factory mod package (hood scoops, simulated side pipe rocker covers and roof spoiler), rally pack gauges, 3.54 twin grip rear end, power brakes (disc front/drum rear). It even has the original vacuum wipers. Those make driving in the rain fun.

It's pretty much bone stock, minus a Mallory electronic ignition system, a one wire alternator conversion and the rims. The rims on it came with it, and I can't justify spending the cash for a set of Magnum 500s that it should have.

Nice one of my friends has a soft spot for javelins. I never saw that roof spoiler before.

I've got a soft spot for the early Mavericks.....must be the name "maverick".....lol!

Here's my 1971 Maverick Grabber. Solid low mikeage Southern car with 61k on the ticker. She's still sporting her original interior (except for the carpet). Has a nicely built 306 roller motor, I've done quite a bit to it since I bought it, converted it to a 5 speed manual, put an integrated tach that matches the original speedometer in (these cars never came with a tach ), still have lots of little things I wanna do but it's a rust free solid car that turns heads....it's something different.

Everyone has Mustangs and Camaros (lol how but it Chris?), I was always a maverick...lol

I remember my grandpa having a brown Maverick when I was a kid. It didn't look anything like yours though.

    Nice ride.

She probably didn't know about the red button on the shifter. The red button would have changed her mind about that car.

I sold this 1962 Studebaker GT Hawk to my best friend after owning it for 14 years. I was storing it at his place after moving and decided it needed to be driven. He has got it in great shape now. The car came from the Central Valley of California and is rust free and still has less than 60K original miles. Studebaker 289 with a 4 speed transmission.

My mother had a bronze/gold colored one with a hatchback. She traded in her 1968 convertible Mustang for it................... Edit, it was her Pinto that replaced the Maverick that had the hatchback.
