What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

Hey look, white stuff! Up to 8" today, I am working from home.

Did anyone make a pot of coffee yet?

 

School and work cancelled. I was ready to go and got the call early. I had my two cups of coffee and was cleaning in the basement by 6:30 am. I am going to be a cleaning fury today, lots to do.

 

I left for work at 3:30 am - as soon as the first flakes started to fall. No way was I waiting for iced up roads with having to drive the Focus

 

Light snow coming down. We may get 3" here, more along the coast. Don't have to go anywhere, thankfully. Schools closed all over southern and eastern Maine today. Sticky snow packs down and gets slippery fast. Slide offs are almost always someone with an SUV with 4 wheel drive, going too fast... learning the hard way that 4x4 does nothing to help stop in a skid... weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... ...

 

Couple of bags of pellets strapped to the hood does wonders for more traction!

Pouring rain and windy here so we wimped out on the walk. Got some computer work done though.

5-6" here in Bedford and still snowing pretty heavily. Guess it's about time for the weather guessers to update their "prediction"

 

We are at 3 - 4" here. Heavy and wet. Power outages are starting. I shook all the hedges off. Branches are hanging everywhere. The storm will be out of here in a few hours.

 

The weather guesser was wrong again. Looks like we'll be at 6" by this evening.

 

Nearly 8" now.

 

Power out at work, working from home and I'm outta luck (or in luck?)

So I did our taxes. Not a good thing, I figured out we broke through a tax bracket.. mo' money mo' taxes

 

I'll take some snow if y'all got too much.

 

Finished snow duty annnddddd power is out. Genny is on, good thing it was crock pot dinner!

Just noticed that my weather sticker says light rain. NOT It is going sideways and coming down hard!
