    School and work cancelled. I was ready to go and got the call early. I had my two cups of coffee and was cleaning in the basement by 6:30 am. I am going to be a cleaning fury today, lots to do.

    I left for work at 3:30 am - as soon as the first flakes started to fall. No way was I waiting for iced up roads with having to drive the Focus

    Light snow coming down. We may get 3" here, more along the coast. Don't have to go anywhere, thankfully. Schools closed all over southern and eastern Maine today. Sticky snow packs down and gets slippery fast. Slide offs are almost always someone with an SUV with 4 wheel drive, going too fast... learning the hard way that 4x4 does nothing to help stop in a skid... weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... :hair:... :doh:

    We are at 3 - 4" here. Heavy and wet. Power outages are starting. I shook all the hedges off. Branches are hanging everywhere. The storm will be out of here in a few hours.

    So I did our taxes. Not a good thing, I figured out we broke through a tax bracket.. mo' money mo' taxes
