I made a comment a while back about dealing with brain tumors and you all went crazy with concern! I dont know what to say other than thank you! Many PMs and phone calls have occurred and I am very greatful to everyone! Its overwhelming to see so much love!! And yes somebody let the cat outta the bag about the PMs but thats my secret to keep... Right now its mostly over and I am doing very well.... Its been a lOOOONG road to get to this point! The family is well which in my book is more important! On a trip up to see Dennis Backwoods Savage today my love of beer and food caught up with me thanks to all of you! He even made a really nice card to go with your gift. I did not mean to be rude and so I hope that everyone understands that I did not say anything because frankly it wasnt something I wanted as public knowledge at the time and to be honest I let it slip without thinking. I do not talk about these issues in public often so even this message is hard for me. Actually I was a little annoyed at first when I saw the gifts because I dont do gifts well but ill admit you wanting me drunk is a sure sign of love and you all have to deal with me here afterwords! Thank you all again! Ps Truthfully thats about a years worth for me but dont tell anyone I gotta keep my reputation up!
As I am new, our paths have not crossed, but I am truly glad to hear that you are doing better and the outpouring of support from this group is outstanding. Enjoy your family and your libations!
I'm glad everything worked out. When I used to drink I loved JW Dundee's Lager. Almost makes me want one
Wow Pete, this is the first I have heard of this! If you need anything that I can help you with let me know. Gary
Pete's wife just called to read me the riot act. Said the beer was half gone already and Pete was having problems walking straight. All joking aside, Pete is a great guy as is his lovely wife. Pete and I had a nice walk in our woods this morning and he may be back tomorrow to do some cutting along with amateur cutter. Both are friends and very welcome and are also welcome to take wood from our place as needed. Also Pete is a different man (for the better) since the surgery and we wish him well. Sorry we didn't straighten up the place a bit before the pictures but it is home! On the right is my leather working (other things too) desk and that is usually sort of unkempt. But it works for me.
Thank you my friend will you be at the gtg this spring? Well I didnt know thats what was happening... We where trying to get together like we di every couple months and it must have fallen just right. Dennis and AC are sneaky fellas!
