That tree was HUGE!!! And solid all the way through, it makes you wonder how long it would have been there for and how much bigger it would have gotten had it not been cut down
Certainly could be, but even if not I can't say I would want a tree that big right next to my house. If it fell it probably had enough size and weight to crush multiple houses

Very cool and they do make it look easy ...but it doesn't come without lots of training and the right equipment. I would love to see the picture he took of the MS441 on the top of the tree with the city in background at the 5 minute mark of the video
Impressive. I'm amazed at how clean the cuts are while up in the tree. I have a tough enough time bucking on the ground.
Climbing is an aquired skill. It took me a long time to get comfortable doing it. You have to put your life literally on a string. Be able to trust equipment and knots. Put total faith in every step you take. I liken it to controlled chaos. there isn't a single second when you're up there that you ain't playing your every move in your head over and over and over and over again...... But I love the rush!! We're doing a locust tomorrow, I'll try and take the gopro in the tree......
This man is crazy or he have big balls to do this , so i dont really know to who take my hat off , to this picture or to the others with a ton of equipment
That is amazing! My hat is off to all of the professionals that climb. What a dangerous and WAY COOL job!! I'll stay on the ground and watch!
Anyone else notice him perch his saw for a quick photo op? I'd like to see how that picture turned out. A little bit of google suggests that Dutch Elm Disease is taking out these trees.
