I'm sure. Those make short work of anything under 30" wide of cut. You're welcome. I've got another 395 I have to collect parts for and see if I can make a runner out of it this year.
Good looking boards there foragefarmer About how much time to spin those boards - include the time for setting up your first cut with the level alignment and all that?? I have a good amount of wood backing up my property, I have thought about a mill a lot but throw out the idea after I think about all the stuff it would force me to buy. But if I keep it simple it could just be a mill and a bigger saw and use these tired old legs to "haul" the finished goods out.
Only thing. I was having hot restart issues if it sat for 5-10 mins. I have heard about this with the 394's but what is the deal?
It takes a while and even though I have a bucket with odds and ends; I at least don't ever remember everything. So there is running back to the shop. Maybe 2 hours. But I ate something in there as well. I am milling the wood for a specific project I will be paid for. Can't work with the snow on the ground so I am just trying to stay busy.
