So my cousin picked up his Husqvarna 262xp that I rebuilt for him....and he brought me these beauties that were being thrown in the garbage by someone he knew. Not a bad looking bunch ! Didn't get to check these out..but they all have great compression....more winter fun lol !
Let me know when you start on that 015L. I've got my grandpa's old 015L that I need to work on to get running. It's certainly a carb issue as it's got spark and compression. I just wish stihl made it easier to get to the carb on this saw.
Wow!.....hard to believe these were going to pitched!, I get first dibs if you decide to sell!!....................uhh......no I don't want the Troy-Bilt!!..........
I have read that the seals in this ms 200t is real pain i want a picture if you can to see what is this pain with theese seals
Meant to tell you there is a 015 for sale in my neck of the woods if you need parts. HoneyFuzz offer stands for you as well. I'd be happy to check it out for you fellas.
I can't believe someone would pitch a saw let alone a 200 those are worth money just for parts! Nice score!
I know right ! My cousin wants the 200 T...as he really liked it ! The guy that was throwing them out said he wouldn't mind having the 61....I think it just needs the sour 20 year old gas flushed out..carb clean and fuel lines. And a healthy bath lol ! Blowing about 170 psi comp ! But.....no plans for the 015 or weadeater. I haven't checked em out yet...but no doubt salvagable ! All seem to have good arm pull compression....but I gotta tell ya...I'm not looking forward to working on the top handle saws lol !
The 200 shouldn't be too bad. The 015L can be a sumbeech if the case screws are siezed. Don't ask me how I know this
