    Well, you know we're gonna talk about it, so we may as well have a thread for it.

    Here 20 miles west of Philly the snow started around 7 PM and we got about an inch in the first hour. No wind yet. Looks like an army of snow trucks on the highway already (good for them!).

    Have several days worth of generator gas, fully charged batteries for the battery bank, and the snow blower is set to go for the morning. Beer, coffee and bourbon stocked up. Forecasting 18-24 inches between Friday night and Sunday morning. Here we go...

    At least 18 inches and still pounding down. Up to 30 inches forecast. In taking a break from snowblowing, letting neighbor borrow the beast we have as his just won't move it. Wind not so bad though, and no power loss so far.

    We have 6-8 on the ground now in the very NE of New Jersey and more is on the way. The forecast as of early yesterday had us just north of the path of the storm but that has since been revised upwards.
