A Throw & Shoot Camera....................

This is made for all techno/photo geeks.

America's new toy!!

Throw and Shoot Camera.

20 minutes of overhead tracking photography. Just throw it into the air
They are selling at $699.00. Amazing what there is on the horizon.

Golfers, can just throw this camera into the air before you tee-off, and
it will record ALL of your great shots.

This technology is bordering on science fiction. It will revolutionize
the movie and TV industry and with this equipment, home videos will be
more fun to watch.

Lily is the world's first throw-and-shoot camera. It lets anyone create
cinematic footage previously reserved for professional filmmakers.
Lily is waterproof, ultra-portable, and shoots stunning HD pictures and
videos.

Whoa.

OK... like, that's impossible... wow. How come I keep imagining millions of those doing bad things, instead of fun things... like revolutionizing the military, anyone's military... what could possibly go wrong, right... ... you're right Rotti... borders on science fiction. Thx for the vid.

Sure but what does it do in the woods?

Gary

Brings ya lunch.

I'm wondering how much it can haul.
As in, have it go get a few splits of firewood while I sit, sipping some sweet tea in the shade.
Or, I could throw it out the door, while it goes to the shed for a refill. Would keep me from tracking snow in on me slippers.
Attach a chainsaw, and have it fell, limb, and buck trees.

Oh My
good thing I didn't have a mouthful of coffee when I read that

thanks for that laugh

I'd like to put the tracker on Ruger and just sit back and watch
Not sure which one would be more entertaining.......lol

If it doesn't mind it's manners there is always Plan B. A 12 gauge skeet gun and a couple loads of #9's..........course that would be an expensive lesson.................

Yup... I can see that... ... I like the pick-up-splits idea. Mmmm... you and bogydave could work on an app for it so it would be able to stack laser straight stacks... and send it out every week or so to check em... see if any have moved or the stack is leaning... or... or...

It would add to the fun TD, if Ruger knew it was following him and went all evade on it...

If you had a "crew" of those, a lot of work would get done in pretty short order. They'd need some sort of sensors to avoid each other mid-flight.

They call that a swarm...

Yep, I've seen that vid. Very cool.
Get those buggers workin' in unison, then just sit back.......and watch the carnage when there's a glitch.

We're joking but... someday what we're talkin' about will be no big deal. Of course the inevitable mishaps they'll cause might tamp down enthusiasm a little along the way. They are incredible though... especially ole Lily.

Last summer kids came in the house flipping out. Said there was a big drone flew over real low. I honestly thought they were just BS'ing me and shrugged it off. About a month ago I was mentioning the story to my neighbor and he sez to me,,,," ya know that guy that bought that huge parcel of land up the road,,,, he bought a big drone and he checks his property from his house with it."
Neighbor tells me he can program GPS coordinates into it and flight patterns for auto pilot. Turns around automatically if signal starts getting weak. Crazy stuff.
Cameras EVERYWHERE nowadays !

yea...till he ran into the woods.
not sure what kind of 'obstacle avoidance' the camera has

You'll just have to remember to order the FHC branch trimming blades for it so it can carve it's way through the woods...

This one uses what we're talking about now, as a proto type for their fullsize later. Unreal.
