Ant? Outside in this cold? He'll freeze up like clemsonfor's autocorrect 16F here, supposed to bottom out here zerah here tonite, wind chill advisory in effect......
Ohh! you guys are so critical! My fat fingers are just now thawing out and you go and make sport of me for typing ant instead of any!! p.s. I don't think clemsonfor has any auto correct! At all!
Reminds me of the poor kid I grew up with. His birthday was coming up; his Mom wanted to get him some clothes; his Dad wanted to get him a toy. They compromised. Bought him a pair of pants and cut the bottoms out of the front pockets.
Indeed. Got chilly last night. My better half told me it was minus 30 C when she retired (28 below F) and I left her two large square splits about 9x9 to and 18 inches long (30 -40 lbs) to toss in as she retired and there were lots of coals left when I got up but only 70 degrees in the house and we prefer 80 for obvious reasons. I'm thinking the big wood burner was a smart move. That's the coldest so far but am sure we'll get colder ones yet.
Kinda funny how fast things change out here on the prairie. Started this thread last weekend. Forecast for this weekend is 60ยบ air temp warmer than a week before.
15 deg here now, not a bad temp for us this time of the year. There's a good strong wind behind it that is doing it's thing, so burning more like it was subzero.
We had some pretty cold temps. The last couple of days were-4, -8, then -5 this am. It's 10 degrees out now. Feels downright balmy. Nearly Stinny like and getting the swim trunks on to hang out in a lawn chair in the snow. Shagbark, ironwood, beech, and sugar maple kept us warm.
