You are too funny. I look for the hard core way to do things like ignitors from time to time, but the best all around, never fail tater gun lighter I have found is a flint based lantern striker. You will need to tap it on the side of a 14 inch length of 6 inch pipe though, no side T. I like to roll a little red devil or kingsford in there with the aqua net.
Bench grinder??? Hmmmm... That leaves me thinking about building a small gauge SBR version, can you say fingerling potato gun.
You guys might want to go full screen with this, then again that means youll see me better too...... Be warned, i'm no actor.
back when i was a teenager 40 plus years ago, we would take the cap off of the fence post on a chainlink fence post, drill a hole at the bottom, spray in lighter fluid, drop in a tennis ball, put a lighter by the hole at the base and whoomp up the tennis ball would go. high into the sky. our other favorite was, best friends mom was a nurse and she would bring us home surgical tubing, we would lace the tubing between the gate posts and add a sling in the center, then we would fill balloons with water, stretch out the tubing and that balloon would fly for blocks, i grew up in new york so this was our outdoor fun in around 1976
Certifiable! Nice vid, good commentary Oscar worthy?......I'm no judge Mite haveta do like newer gas caps that are tethered.... This way you won't loose as much "go" juice!
