Interesting. As you can tell from previous comments, most of the biggest Nebraska turkeys live in Osceola...
@S.Roche It's all good when they serve lefse, meatballs, mashed potatoes and gravy, and rutabagies along with the lutefisk and melted butter. Gotta have some good egg coffee to wash it all down.
Any time I get a chance to experience new eating treats, count me in. It is one of the biggest reasons I had for supporting integrating new ethnic groups into our work group. Crew picnics improved with every new addition.
Thanks. I was over there tonight and got a better look at the stove it's a 1003c I believe. It's catalytic but I believe he burned the baffles out years ago. He said he was quoted $1000 to replace them but didn't noticed much difference without it. All I know is the stoves in the basement and the whole house was nice and toasty.
Got back out to my locust find. Cut about two pickup bed loads in a couple hours. It's all kinda hard to get to, but hopefully we'll worth it. Didn't get any pics while there, but thought to snap one before I unloaded the first load. Most cut with my 362cm, but broke out my new ms180 for the first time. What a fun little saw. I was really shocked at how well it handled the rounds. Even fell a 24" trunk. That might be a more go-to saw than I intended. I'll grab saw pics next time I'm out. I also have a barely used echo cs-530 that I guess I might sell. Used to love it till I got the 362cm
Jt, Belated welcome from just outside Omaha. Lots of good info here... Looks like you already have a couple of nice saws & a great start on wood.
