    My money's on W. L. Weller their 12 year is the same mash bill and distillate as Pappy Van Winkle it's just aged about 3 years less and $23 vs. $700-1000 a bottle.

    I sampled some 'shine that was aged in applewood charcoal. It was the best 'shine I have ever tasted.
