    Hello to all.

I have had my endurance 50f for 4 burning seasons now.
It's a newer style unit with auto ignition and new pot.
No upgrades as of yet as I just found this site a week ago.
Have burned 100% corn since it's purchase having upgraded from an envirotech unit.
I only came across the site as I was looking for a solution pot overfill throwing corn over but figured out my own problem as the corn had to many fines. Never have had an issue till this year. We grow and dry our own corn and my father topped the wagon off and didn't realize it was as bad as it was. Put it through our cleaner and made an incredible difference as the finest were getting caught on the back plate and burning there instead of in the pot and would catch the corn dropping and burn there as well and eventually shut down the unit. Mostly was happening after a pot clean cycle.
Otherwise I just switched back to manual level 3 as was having an issue with the thermostat not the unit itself.
Thanks for all the information you have all provided makes for a good read.
    Unit serial number is 3262

Welcome aboard Jeff. I am fairly new to this board as well, joined up last fall sometime. this is the first year for me as a 50f
owner. I guess so far I have the newest one on hear. Have just been playing a bit seeing what is the best to burn. So far straight
pellets, a pellet corn mix 50/50 and a straight rye seed. I will try just corn next and see what happens. Get yourself up on the
endurance 50f info thread and add your serial # as well. Tons of info on hear you will like it. I bought my unit from a guy in southern ont. Maybe you are close by him. Came from Alberts Burner Service in Burgessville On

    Will work on pics later.
Pretty basic setup. Just running a 10 inch vent pipe underneath my existing house 1300 Sq ft and just letting the heat off the pipe with a small opening heat my new addition of 1200 plus basement for rest.
When we built our new addition we put in separate heating and cooling so I have 2 propane units for backup. I can keep my new addition comfortable without running the propane but the old part needs propane to stay comfortable. Been thinking of trying other setups but I know there is no way the furnace will heat the whole 3600 Sq ft.

I'm hearing about 2,900 sq with mine when I don't run my woodstove downstairs.

When they have the proper air flow and a good burn (grey to white colored firebox), they are heat monsters! If you have any black soot, then the airflow is lacking and your heat will be diminished

    Welcome to the forum!!
