Well the boss and I went on a junk store run before the storm was to start, I picked up 7 additions for the video collection and she got a pile of books (50% day for seniors at Salvation Army) and a Care Bear cushion which is in the washer. I also took a nap so I wouldn't see the snow start.

Came down to see if Netgear got around to my problem ticket and they had more questions and no answers so I left them the information they requested.

    Hi Annu

    Internet port information from genie

    MAC Address dc:ef:09:78:a3:31
    IP Address/Mask 104.228.218.44 /255.255.240.0, 2604:6000:9fc0:6d:7873:d92a:6a0f:543 /128
    Connection DHCP Client
    Default Gateway 104.228.208.1
    Domain Name Server 209.18.47.61, 209.18.47.62,

The source for the files that were FTP'd over to the 1 TB Seagate Backup Plus Portable Hard Drive is on a 2TB Toshiba Hard Drive Linux system. The FTP client used was Gftp not that it matters, I also get the same issue if I do a straight Drive to Drive copy. The format on the 1TB unit is Fat32, source Hard Drive Partiotion is XFS. I have zero issues with the file transfer. I can retrieve the transferred files without issues.

    Thank you.
    xxx

PS: I'm a retired system's programmer with over 45 years experience. This issue is mentioned many times on the community forum. I ran into the same problem with another Netgear device which was a router.

Friggin cold and snowy. We got about 6 inches of the crud here. 20 miles west of me they got a foot.

Supposed to be back to nearly 40 on Friday with rain before it gets cold and switches back to snow.

In the plus side, I'm only roasting a bag a day even with the temps in the low teens and windy nearly 24x7 the past few days. This years Pro Pellets seem to be pretty good, and I think the combustion blower impeller upgrade helped as well.

It is a nice looking thermometer, Jay.

That's just like the Hummingbird wind chime here that would stay out all year, covered in a foot of ice, if the Boss had her way. :picard:

Colder than a well diggers azz here. Wind chill advisories the last few days and for the next couple, then back up to around freezing.

Cold as heck!! But it's warm inside. I added another vent from my main trunk for my Pellet furnace. It's the room that has the Enerzone upstairs. It and the dining room are the only 2 rooms without a vent.

My Sump pump kinda crapped out.. So I went from the medium duty Basement Watchdog Primary/battery back up, to the Heavy duty Primary/battery back up. :)

We got our first snow, only a dusting, but it is cold out, and patches of ice! The temp is not bad, but the wind cuts right through you!

We turned off the stove so WWW could scrape the pot tonight after I emptied the ash pan last night. Thrilled how it burns better after scraping. And exactly like Dex mentioned when it was new to us, we get the typical "speedbump" in the burn pot. Too tough for me, but he makes quick work of it:) Igniting now as we speak

Happy that we got 3". Just enough to shovel and get a light workout at 4 AM, but not so much as to need the blower. I could live with these types of winter storms right thru spring.

It did that here last night. Only snowed for a few hours but dumped a quick 4" and now it is in your neck of the woods. At 5am I was out there cleaning the driveway. All done except for some light shoveling after work. :)
