Well I was cleaning our Michigan basement up and dragged this outta the dirt mound by the wall!!!! A very very old croquet set in what looks to be a hand made crate! Pretty sweet.

Those old croquet sets bring pretty good money at estate sales. I've bid on a couple but they always seemed to go higher than the top price I set for myself.

    Nice find!

Rrriiiggghhtt! "I totally missed it!" Pete, this is how it starts...with denial!

You were just as excited the last three times you "discovered" it!

    Gotcha thinking now, huh?

It's probably windier (new word?) down there, but I had -20 wind chill while I was shoveling...again...once I got home from the "W" word. Come to think of it, probably even colder when I was shoveling this morning before leaving for the "W" word!

Wife said it was -1F windchill when I came in. 15 minutes and I was all frozen shivers..... I had to go sit by the wood stove for a while before I went out again and finished. BRRRRR

Think how cold you'd be shoveling an area to play croquet in, let alone playing a whole game after shoveling.....
Ok, so that sounded funnier in my head:rofl: :whistle:

Love Carhartts and fleece lined jeans! Heated handlebar grips on atv also helps as does a windshield. Biggest problem is sometimes face gets a bit cold as does the thumb on my right hand (throttle control).
