Ive about had it with these cats (felines)

 

Cmon back in you foolish dogs! I need to get in the shower! Ugh.

 

How did your wife manage to sleep? What it a bit difficult for her; too sore?

 

I think she did okay. She did have to move to her favorite spot on one of our couches because the way she was propped up in bed was giving her a sore neck. She's such a little trooper.

 

Just watched some of "highlights" of the Steelers/Bengal game. Wow....what a bunch of bone head moves by the Bengals at the end of the game.

I've always had a soft spot for the Bengals too. In my humble (and often dumb) opinion it shows how money certainly doesn't buy you common sense, discipline or unselfishness.

Dang guys....pull your head out of your own stump!

 

Lazy Sunday mornin here. Woke up at 5:30 to go hunting but it was pouring rain and blowin 20+. Change of plans and back to bed to stare at the ceiling. The mrs just cooked me and baby piney a killer breakfast and now it's couch time with my coffee!

The coaching staff of the Bengals need to take a serious look @ their ability to control a couple of trouble makers that pull the rest of that team down.........................That one clown was a problem before the game ever started, and they knew it but did little to control it.

 

Chili is started, fire-starters are done. Made one dozen and it looks like I used too much saw dust. The egg carton is outside cooling off now. Learning curve.

 

Chili is done, (and good) fire-starters seem to be ok. Now, all thats left is the jerky. And clean the tool box. And go to my brothers. And stop by the store. Yeah, that's probably all....maybe.

The steelers assistant coach should've never been on the field on the last penalty though. Still, bone headed mistakes lost the game for the bungholes.

 

Busy day today. Campinspecter and Granny off for two days for a medical appt. down island. I am left at home with the dogs and running the boiler today. Bananas and red peppers in the dehydrator, laundry on the go, baking to be done and bookkeeping as well. Got our walk in early this morning. It was pretty windy so it was nice and fresh. Above freezing here with a high overcast. Might even get to watch a bit of football or curling today.

 

I hear ya on the "coulda, shouda, wouda" part, but no way do you justify the hit that clown put on Brown. He was fined 69000 for his antics the last time they played, he was mouthing big time, pre-game, what he was going to do in this game. His Big Dollar arse needs to ride the pine for awhile plain and simple.

 

I've been cleaning the basement a lot this weekend. I was tired of having to move things around to make room. I am determined to make the space more efficient. I gathered 4 bins of scrap wood and cutoffs for kindling. I found lots of pieces for future projects.

I am also upgrading from 4' T -12 fixtures to 4' LED fixtures. The new ones are great so far. A clean shop is very motivating.

I had this idea for a year or so of making a holder for my Mapp torch to heat iron for small forging projects. Balancing the torch was not an option. Holding it in one hand and putting it down safely when I went to hit the hot iron was not working either. Too much heat is lost on small pieces in that short time. The torch is too top heavy with the push button starter top.

I had a partially finished project that did not work out sithing around. I just heated it, bent some new angles and added a bottom piece that angles up to the side. I then hot riveted it to the bottom. I hooked the top to sit in the pritchel hole on the anvil. It also had some fishtail ends on the original, so I added some on the side piece. Fishtails are great practice to make. It is quick and dirty, not a show piece.






I can see making the 16 oz version in the future.
