Careful my friend, don't be rushing the healing process. You could end up not liking the results.........

You're situation is a LOT worse than my hernia surgery, without any doubt, but one parallel I can draw- I overdid a few things, including falling directly on my hernia incision!!! Set me back a little ways for sure.
So, LXJ- relax bud, heal up, then do what ya want!
It's hard to not do want you want to.....

In the same boat as you lukem. Single digits and breezy, along with anywhere from a dusting to 6" of snow. It just depends on who the forecaster is what they are predicting. Gonna have to bring a face cord of the "good stuff" into the garage this mornin'.

A few pieces of elm burning away in the stove, my bare feet nice warm, single digits outside with 3" of new snow, sitting here watching cruise ships enter the Nassau Bahamas port on their webcam and getting ready to make Fortchen (aebelkizers) for breakfast before I venture out to scoop and do some work.

    Variety...the spice of life? :)

Coffee now, then getting the plow truck ready for the first time this year. Will probably just end up spreading ice melt since the ground temp is 40 deg, but better safe than sorry.

Caffein and breakfast going in. We are supposed to get a pounding of rain today and again tomorrow before we have a snap freeze tomorrow afternoon and night. The foot of snow we have on the ground now ought to be a few inches of frozen "concrete" by tomorrow night. Sounds like I will be doing some sanding when that happens. Everyone have a good safe day.....and LinkedXJ take it slow and easy today.

Just went on a long quad ride on my neighbors property. They are in the middle of logging it. To say the trails were muddy would be an understatement. Hard to run in 4wd on flat ground in a few place. Peanut butter mud clogged up the tires pretty good.

Against my better judgement I ordered a face cord of ash from an ad on CL. The ad read "CURED STANDING ASH TREES READY TO GO" - asked the MC but they could not tell me, but it is ready he assures me. The price was $65/face cord 16 inch length. He said he would do anything to earn my business - I thought, but did not say - how about buy a MM. Will see what I get. Not holding my breath, but would like something I could add to this years supply which is way too heavy on black cherry. Heard such great things about ash, but have never burned any. Will post a picture and let you know what I got for my money.
