Oops I forgot to clean out the pellet stove and it failed to ignite. Hopefully I am not the only one who has done that.... Soo shes all clean and lit now! And so is she!
Same here. Woke up around 5 this morning to hear the furnace kicked on. Went downstairs, the stove was off and cold. Open the hopper and sure enough it was empty.
A while back we got in late and I checked the pot on the stove and gave it a swish with the putty knife to clear the clinker, then the cat started telling me her bowl was empty. Fed the cat, went to bed and by 3 AM or ??? judging by the cold stove at 6 AM the fire was out. We can see the flickering reflection on the wall in the family room from the bedroom and an early eye out that way revealed a dark room Hmmmm, OH OH /??? I stumble into the family room and take a peek in the hopper, ooooops. Center of the load of shells had all fallen in and the outer edges did not. Stone cold and the house is getting COLD Luckily the little Whit was running too that night, so the place was not freezing. Knocked the shells down and flipped the stove on full speed to prime the auger, after which a fire was quick to make. Ahhhh yess, been there done that, Sucks too
Happens often here when we are in our bed (electric mattress pad and blanket)......so I do not notice til morning
