Since popping another disc in my back the cutting has went very slowly. This was on 1/2 and today I did another one about the same size or a little larger. It is all I can take right now but at least I get a little bit of exercise. Forgot the camera today so you have to be satisfied with the picture from a few days ago.

After coming into the house, some of our kids showed up. Many were watching as I took the atv back to cut the wood too. Not sure how many are in this picture but all together we had 22 deer in the yard this afternoon.

    The kids ' don't split' ??

My dad would be relegated to strictly prep work & Safety !!

Note- I certainly have no exposure to your particular situation...but you'd be relegated to a verticle billet...

As far as I can tell, he has about half of the breeding population down at his place.....
And....it would seem that not only does he get ahead on his firewood, he can also get ahead on his venison!

Yes, just a little bit of Holiday candy for the deer. Funny how they remember but every year once we start getting snow, they come looking. We seem to have more this year than last but during hunting season there did not seem to be as many. Probably because we don't bait and the neighbors do.

Right! This way I can hold off for the big one. Eating tag soup this year but we are still okay on the venison. We can ours so it keeps really well and tastes super great too.
