All I can say is the Ladies have really stepped-up & have helped out w/ Laundry, and that after 21+ years my wife is a 'zen master' of knowing how to torture her husband w/o resorting to any overt violence - I believe bladed-weapons are her preferred specialty, in any case. :)

However, in the event 'operation Washer' goes badly, I have stopped at the local laundromat by work & setup an account / picked up a re-loadable 'washing machine card' - one can never be 'too prepared' in these situations. ;)

It's a 'balmy' 17 F outside now (feels warmer in the sun though) the PVC washer drain line has been inspected & measured / the brake stop is set on the snake line, but it's too cold & crunchy outside / in the crawlspace: I won't be snaking the line until later this week, when temps. are supposed to get above freezing.

Gotta get busy - back to washer parts cleanup & prep for new parts install tomorrow.. (IOW, staving off the pending skillet bashing..)

just got the legendary edition of skyrim, so a major expansion of the game.
brand new for $15 with my 30 day amazon prime free trial.
it's my consolation for the fact that i won't be playing fallout 4 until probably 2017.

whenever xbox one get's down to $199.

it's much, much cheaper gaming a few years behind the curve.
i have never, and almost certainly will never, pay $60 for a game.

My honeys 17 year old really wanted Star Wars Battlefront for the Xbox One. I had a real issue with 60-70 pricing on a game with reviews that are all over the place. I lucked out and found it at Gamestop (of all places) at 39 bucks just before Christmas and it came with a Kylo Ren bobble head . He loves the game and I will say t looks fantastic on the xbox one. Made me think about getting one but way too much $$ for me to play once in a while at most. $199 would probably get me to buy as well and by then the used game market will be better stocked for cheap.

I just looked at the XXV manual online and there must be multiple versions. The one I say still referred to Stove Temp in all the illustrations.

Yup, our old jalopies still say Stove Temp.

It probably caused too much confusion and questions to dealers? In reality, it is a constant temp of the stove itself so one is more functionally correct (Constant Temp) and the other is theoretically correct (Stove Temp)

Kind of quiet here tonight. Everyone's fingers must be frozen from the first real cold here in the Northeast.
Or we are all too tired from 2 days back to work after all the holiday time off-yup that's it for me.

Finally got cold here last night, but not nearly as cold as most of you. Outside temp was reading 13 degrees when I left for work this morning. Almost no wind thankfully. Had a great day with tons of sun and no wind at all. Don't remember the last time we had a day like that. It was 77 in the house when I got home thanks to all the solar gain. Furnace shut off sometime this morning and hasn't been on since. It's down to about 68 in the house now, but I'd prefer it a bit cooler for sleeping anyway.
