Home from my Excel workshop. I did learn something new today which is what I should be doing every day. tomorrow the office!! Was suppose to rain/snow today but the skies are clear and cold still. Campinspecter went out for a load of wood this afternoon. Granny has an empty woodshed to fill.

Woodwidow , I use Excel every day at work. I'll be taking some more Excel classes through work for more advanced things (pivot tables, formulas etc).

No jazz or blues for me. Or country for that matter.

Sorry, I just can't deal with those genres.

You forgot to cut my stack of too long splits while I was out at work.

Brought in wood to the basement rack, hit the grocery store for my bride, cleaned ashes out of the stove and checked on our new (porch) roommate.

For the past 4 nights this feathered friend has camped out on our open porch by the front door. Each morning he is gone. He doesn't move when we step out to take pictures.

My best guess is he is waiting for a mouse to come out of the bushes for the bird seed or corn my bride keeps there.

He's about 6" tall and is a hoot (sorry I couldn't resist). My bride named him LeRoy...he looks more like a Charles to me. :)

Pretty sure that's a screech owl. Eastern out western no clue. Maybe western screech owl.

I was thinking it was a saw-wheet owl, but I think it's a western screech owl.

Yup, you are probably right on. We used to have two of them who literally camped out on top of our feeders just to clean up the rodents population on the ground under the feeders.

If that condition lasts over 3 hours you should seek medical attention. :)

    Thanks.

All of my saltwater reef aquarium chemicals and bags of pure white reef salt will have them battering ramming my door down. The metal halide lights on my reef tank won't give them any reason to suspect anything right?

    Lol.

Police have done this to fellow reef tank enthusiast's over the years. This isn't the only case..
