Yeah, starting doing more things with my left arm in anticipation:picard:

Funny thing is I had some partial tearing in my left should before falling and doing a complete tear on my right shoulder so I also know the discomfort others are feeling with rotator cuff issues like bocefus78 and Jack Straw. When I went to see the surgeon in June about my right shoulder, he gave me a cortisone injection in my left shoulder and within the hour all pain and discomfort was gone. Been like this since so if you have a chance, I highly recommend the cortisone injection.

I got cortisone shots for my shoulder. 2 big needles, didn't even feel them! They did help.

Talked to the dr after the surgery and he said sewed a big flap of the tendon back on, I don't know about you but I lost a lot of strength in my affected arm, he said it will come back:D:D

Currently I can lift an engine block if it's below my chest...however changing a light bulb can be an issue:picard:

Its not bad , the pain only lasted 2 days. Trying to pull up and button my pants with one arm is no fun. Next Friday is 4 weeks and I am ready to get out of the sling:mad::mad:

    Good luck with your surgery

loose fitting sweats, and go commando, slip on shoes. At least for the first couple weeks, then you can progress once it doesn't hurt to move around.

Right where I want to be.
The importance of this cannot be overemphasized.
When I broke my arm, I had no chance to "practice".
Even more important for the young ladies amongst us.:thumbs:

I did that when I first severed it:hair:. Doctor says I'm not allowed to drive for several weeks after surgery. Something about him being liable. If they think you will drive they can take your license. That'll be a tough one for me as I usually drive over 50,000 miles a year. However the winter is my off months so this is the best time for me to get it done.
