    Feel great.
I was on FHC until midnight. We had the TV on, but didn't watch the ball drop.
Gave my wife a "Happy New Year" kiss and got back on here, while she surfed Faceplant.
    No drinking.
Hope everyone had a fun, safe night.

Me don't do decorations... Unless you consider wood piles decorations...:D.... Moved 1/2 cord up to the driveway while ground was still frozen.

Good man Rotti. That was a serious spanking the Spartans took. We went out for supper in town and got home and turned on the game. Saw the score and changed the channel. Not a great way to end an otherwise exciting season. So it's Clemson vs Bama for the National bragging rites. I see one of our members is a Clemson alumni - so I guess I'll have them in my heart come the 11th. By the way - not a drop of the devil's juice for this old boy last night as I was the DD.

Wish the ground was frozen here, I need to move some wood, but way too muddy. Gave up the New years eve madness and hangovers 25 years ago so I guess I'll just sit by the fire and relax today.

My head feels great considering a I finished a bottle of wine by myself last night. I'm proud of that, considering I had pretty much stopped drinking during my wife's last couple months of pregnancy and after the first month of our daughters birth in October. The first time I drank again a few beers gave me a hangover!

My body on the other hand isn't feeling that great, but that's because I spent yesterday rolling heavy rounds up a hill to get them to the splitter. Why is it so much easier to get back in "drinking shape" than physical shape??

Party at the Pastor's last night, in bed by 11:00 PM so we are in great shape this morning. Nice to sit and visit with friends. Learned a new card game - Dutch Blitz We woke up to hear fireworks and horns at 12:00 by the neighbours.

Drank a couple of bottles of wine with my fiancé (that was starting at 8:30 and finishing up at 12:30.) Enjoyed our annual feast of deer tendoin, lobster tail, shrimp and scallops with the wine.
Went to my brother's and cut up 20 logs with him, took a drive with my RTV, went for a 3 mile walk, and took a nap. Good day!

I wasn't a total slacker today! After my big breakfast, a nap, and some contemplation got a load of small tops on the trailer. It can wait till mornin' to get unloaded.

Watched the ball drop. Didn't watch the programming leading up to it. All seemed like so much.... too much. Got up with a with my arthritis talking to me. After I moved around some and had two cups of coffee, things didn't seem so bad. All the kids who were here last PM are now back home with their parents. Managed to go to Pet Smart and get the dogs and cats some new toys from their clearance sale. Came home with a big bag of them. The dogs were all smiles. The cats, well, you know cats.

I have been waking up with a headache all week....the bad ones like caffeine withdrawals, you know? Usually go away after the first cup of joe.
Last night, I didn't partake in much and was in bed by 10. I do not miss those bad day afters where it takes all day to start feeling human again. Lots of waste there if you think about it. I honestly wonder if I could even survive a bad hangover now-a-days!

I got home from work just in time to hear all the fireworks and gunshots to ring in the New Year. Had someone that I am assuming had a few almost ram into the back of my jeep on the way home too. Felt great this morning.

Ever since I first heard (back in the 60's) about people shooting guns into the air in celebration, I just can't grasp the thought process of the whole idea. I know there is the noise factor, but jeeze, c'mon.
Just doesn't seem right responsibility wise.

Behind my place is nothing but state woods for miles so no worry of hitting anyone. On new years past i would pop a few rnds in the air with the shotgun and a few in the ground with the .45, but nowadays im just suprised if i even make it to midnight.

Oh and I felt great yesterday morning! We went to my sister in laws and I had a coffee +2 sodas so the mrs could have a few :drunk:
