I got one for Christmas. Made shrimp already. Came out pretty good. Gonna make a steak next.

I had never heard of it either. Son got it for me for X-Mas. It supposedly has a lot of health benefits. The food has Great taste. Not like ordinary salt at all.

Cooked a burger last night. It tasted delicious. The salt flavor is very subtle.

I'm not sure there really are health benefits but the food is damm good. I don't add a MIT of salt to my food in the first place becaue it doesn't go on evenly, so I am really enjoying the overall taste of the foods with a sale flavor that isn't overpowering.

I put mine right on the gas burner. Warmed it up in the oven though. Grease from the burger everywhere.

Interesting. I did "salt block" as a word search and it seems they run anywhere from $30-$50. Unless you get the one advertised as horse supplies. those are only $7.50-$8! (Just don't let the horse eat the steak before you do)
