Broke down and came to the realization that the warm weather probably isn't coming back anytime soon. I put the winter tires on the Cruze. This is the latest I've ever put them on.

I won't be complaining when the time comes to swap the summer tires back on.

Grabbed 12 bags of LaCrete's, I'd like to do 10-20 bags at a time every year to save space but that's when the shortages will return.

It goes good with the winter tires. I bought a set of boneyard steel wheels and had some Blizzaks mounted on them. I swap them on and off myself when the time comes. Beats going to the tire show and waiting, plus if I curb it in the winter I don't kill one of the aluminum wheels.

The only time I've ever had a problem was in a drift at the end of the driveway coming home in a snowstorm. That was the first winter I had it and before I had the truck. It wasn't a traction problem, but a ground clearance problem. I buried that thing good. Should have attacked the drift in first gear instead of second. :)

I think the Eco has 4.5" of clearance below the air dam. Turning into parking lots sometimes requires hitting the entrance at a 45 degree angle to avoid scraping.

The snow was halfway to the bow tie when I buried mine. Took me 45 minutes to clear a path and dig it out. Wasn't long after that I bought the truck.
