Would those feed through my 10/22 or do I need to load them in the Marlin single shot?

There's a hole on the underside of the eve of my roof, that's the only thing I can figure. There is also a door in one of the upstairs rooms that I haven't ever opened, it is all spray foamed shut but there is a gap on the bottom of the door that I think they must come through.
I'm assuming that behind that door connects to my attic some how?
My house is kind of a fixer upper :emb:
But the price was right and I've been happy with it so far

Sounds like you might have them living in the attic or soffits. I'd be looking around outside for any holes they might be using as a front door. Chasing them around often would get old real fast and you've already tried the PC approach. Time to get serious. Chasing bats here got old real fast even if it was only once or twice a year.

Find out where they are nesting in your place and shake them out then plug the hole or whatever. Time to serve them their eviction notice. I would get a bat inside my place every so often and they would come flying thru the house at night. Freaks my wife out. Funny too. You'd think it was a real life vampire the way she scurries around running from one when it got in. She would go upstairs to the bedroom and shut the door. LOL!

Couldn't figure out how or where they were getting in. Looked and looked for over a year. I thought they were getting into the garage and then maybe coming in thru the man door out to the garage as we left it open to bring groceries or whatever in while we left the door propped open for awhile. I did have one fly in one evening when i had an exterior door open running in some drywall. I was clueless and frustrated as to how they were getting in and tired of the wife complaining about it when it did happen. The humor wore off and I was literally running around the house with a tennis racket after awhile. Usually they would land and attach to a wall or something and I'd just stuff a box over them and then slide a stiff piece of cardboard between the bat and the wall and throw it outside. That was the easiest but had to wait for them and listen to her the whole time.

Then I caught one crawling out thru an interior unfinished soffit in an area which I am now finishing off. This are is usually closed off from the rest of the house but in moderate weather and summer we often left it opened up. These bats were getting in thru a small crack in the soffit outside and crawling thru a joist space above the insulation. Fixed their little squatting scenario.

They say mice and other pest critters can get thru a hole the size of a nickel or dime. I'm sure squirrels need a little bigger but I was amazed at what these dang bats were getting in outside here. We mainly got them during summer and nicer months. Haven't had one in since I fastened a soffit board back up.

I doubt I'd be running around shooting inside the house fellas and I live in Tucky too. Only time I'm discharging inside will be right before a dead body gets drug out. No questions asked. We have the Castle Law in full effect here and the local Sheriff is all for taking out the bad guys. Some old guy just killed some meth head a year or so ago that broke in one night.

They had broken in a couple of times before but this time he was waiting for them. Some how they were reaching up thru a dog door in the basement and getting in. After the second time he put a lazy boy at the top of the stairs and slept in that. Well, when they opened the door this time one got shot. Then the other two were charged with manslaughter for contributing to their drug buddies death and are spending a long time in jail. Stick that in your crack pipe and smoke it.
